Surrounded by greenery and quiet, a stone's throw from Lugano, in a fairytale setting.
Inticino, with the collaboration of Yoging Giulia and the Convent of Bigorio, will propose a retreat in the historic Convent which is still inhabited by four Capuchin Friars. Known to be a meeting point of energy flows for centuries, the Convent of Bigorio is perfectly suited for a yoga retreat in the nice season.
Practices will take place in the ancient and sunny garden of the 16th century stone building, in the shade of olive trees reminiscent of Tuscan landscapes, with a breathtaking view of the entire Lugano area. The evening sessions or these during the day (in case of bad weather) will take place in the energetic chapel renovated by a young Mario Botta.
With great respect for the place and for ourselves, we will move in harmony with nature. A weekend of yoga that will give you strong emotions and make you discover a hidden corner of paradise in the beautiful Capriasca! The Convent is a sacred and private place, accessible only by participation in special events.
The practice is open to all levels and has a maximum of 12 participants. The chef Alesandro will offer a very delicate and creative vegetarian/vegan menu. Depending on the season, Alessandro will use fresh products coming directly from the Convent's garden.
The retreat will be carried out in full compliance with current regulations.
