Have you ever experienced the sensation of reaching a peak, turning around and with satisfaction observing the arduous path taken?
The iron way of San Salvatore is magnificent and accessible at the same time. Climbing the rocks of the 'Pan di Zucchero' (which literally means "the sugar bread") of Ticino is an incredible experience and being able to do it safely with the supervision of an experienced climbing master is a reality.
The iron way is an activity that lies between rock climbing and demanding hiking. The route follows a metal cable on the rock on which you secure yourself with specific devices suitable for the discipline. In the demanding sections, the route is equipped with metal steps that facilitate the progression. The activity is suitable for people looking for adventure with a good physical condition and complete absence of vertigo.
The iron way routes offer an exceptional panorama and are ideal to complete a vertical experience in our region!

Please book at least one week in advance. The activity starts with a minimum of 4-5 participants.
From April to October also available every day on request (subject to availability)
The activity is available at the via ferrata of San Salvatore, Lugano, medium / difficult difficulty
Many other places located throughout the Canton of Ticino are available on request.

Armando is an expert climbing teacher and a great connoisseur of our mountains. It has federal authorization to accompany groups and private customers on via ferrata routes. It will accompany you in absolute safety on the walls of our mountains and will make you savor the thrill of adventure.
