THE EXPERIENCE
An enchanting experience immersed in the Mendrisiotto vineyards, an ideal terroir for the cultivation of various vines.
​
After meeting your guide you leave on foot for the vineyard owned by Fumagalli, an important historical presence in the region, founded in 1923, which boasts several prestigious awards for its wines. The vineyard is located in Pedrinate, where the wines in the southernmost part of Switzerland are produced!
Once you arrive at the farm, the guide will show you the peculiarities of the vineyard and the wine produced with the grapes harvested by hand from the rows around you. Afterwards, you enjoy two local wines accompanied by carefully selected local products. The aperitif will take place as a picnic in the vineyard to experience the world of viticulture and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Mendrisiotto region and its magnificent sunsets.
The activity takes place every day from July to October. Please book at least 4 days in advance.

LOCATION
The meeting point is at Mendrisiotto Terroir c / o Borgovecchio SA, Via Sotto Bisio 5, 6828 Balerna.
Easily accessible by train. The Balerna train station is only 300 meters away. Alternatively you can arrive by car, large parking spaces available.

The transport from Balerna to Pedrinate takes approx. 5 minutes and will be carried out by the organizers of Mendrisiotto Terroir.
