The first Garden Dining in a Swiss Convent, in a fairytale setting with a breathtaking view over the Lugano area.

Starting in June, the exclusive Garden Dining series at the Bigorio Convent in Capriasca will begin again! Antiqua will take place within the magical walls and gardens of Switzerland's oldest Capuchin Convent, dating back to 1535 AD. The Chef of Antiqua, will ensure a fresh and creative cuisine offering dishes with "Km 0" products and coming directly from the Convent's garden. A Garden Bar will be set up, offering exclusively Ticino drinks: from craft beers to local wines, from soft drinks to cocktails! The magical Garden Dining is intended to be a versatile dinner where guests can sit and eat comfortably in "lounge style." Antiqua is an unmissable experience for those who want to disconnect from the daily routine and enjoy a moment of tranquility and serenity in Capriasca, 700 meters above sea level but only 15 minutes from Lugano. The menu offers dishes distinguished by fresh local produce and simple, flavorful cuisine. Vegan and vegetarian options will be available for all five courses. The Menu will be posted soon.

USEFUL TO KNOW

• The picnic at the Convent includes an optional tour of the Convent led by Friar Gianluca.

• With online reservation, a yoga session in the Convent chapel (maximum 9 participants) or a local wine tasting (maximum 14 participants) is available before dinner.

• To ensure exclusivity, Antiqua will be repeated on multiple evenings, which have a maximum capacity of only 45 guests.

• The Convent has parking facilities (shared transportation is appreciated).

• Registration starts with a minimum of 2 people for dinner. For the extra experiences of Yoga and Wine Tasting, one can also register individually.
